Alan Wayne Snyder, of Wills Point, Texas, passed away on September 14, 2020, in Greenville, Texas.

Alan was born to the late Agnes and Alford Snyder in Scranton, Pennsylvania, on January 9, 1961.

Alan married his wife, Elizabeth Ann Snyder, on January 16, 1990. They lived in Wills Point where they raised their family for over 20 years. Alan owned and operated his business, Alan Snyder A/C and Refrigeration, which he loved doing. He loved his grandchildren and going to church regularly.

To cherish his memories, he leaves behind his loving wife Elizabeth Snyder, of Wills Point, Texas; sons, Jeremy Hammond and Jennifer of Temple, Texas, Justin Hammond and Jennifer of Lakewood, Colorado, Jared Hammond and Jessica of Wills Point, Texas and Shaun Snyder and Erin of Wills Point, Texas; daughter Sheena Whiteman and Robert of New York; brother Mark Snyder and Tana of Scranton, Pennsylvania; sisters, Dawn Taylor of California, Patty Lovvorn of Wills Point, Cindy Mancini of Scranton, Pennsylvania, Cathy Ferguson and Art of Scranton, Pennsylvania, Penny Shreck and Myron of Scranton, Pennsylvania, and Faith Coombs of Scranton, Pennsylvania; 13 grandchildren and many loving nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

Alan is preceded in death by his parents; granddaughters, Kalynn Hammond and Lilly Ann Hammond; sister Wendy Reid; brothers, Dick Snyder and Carl Snyder; niece Cheyenne Ramirez and nephews, Richard Lovvorn and Ricky Lovvorn.

The family of Alan Snyder will be accepting guests at Trinity Baptist Church at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, September 17, 2020. Funeral service will follow at 2:00 p.m. Burial will be held at Locust Grove Cemetery following funeral service.
