Alberto Hernandez, 76, of Wills Point, Texas, passed away on Thursday March 24, 2022, at his residence.
Alberto was born on November 21, 1945, in Mexico, to Jose Cruz Hernandez and Marcelina Mendoza. He lived in Wills Point with his beloved wife Magdalena Merino for the past 40 years. He was a member of Saint Luke Catholic Church in Wills Point. Alberto was an agricultural farmer many years until retiring in 2003. He loved telling stories and singing corridos. He always wanted people to feel at home. He was always ready for a good traditional Mexican cookout.
Alberto is preceded in death by his parents; his son Procoro Hernandez; brothers: Margarito, Pedro and Mauro; and sister Estela Hernandez Mendoza.
Alberto leaves behind his beloved wife Magdalena Hernandez; sons, Juan Hernandez, Trinidad Hernandez, Carolina Zavala, Elia Ramirez, Norma Luna, Veronica Monroy, Gilberto Hernandez and Elena Vazquez; brother Jesus Hernandez Mendoz; sisters: Bernardina Hernandez Mendoza and Salud Hernandez Mendoza; many grandchildren ranging from 4 to 35 years old and many great, great grandchildren.
Services will be held Monday, March 28, 2022, at Saint Luke Catholic Church in Wills Point at 11a.m. Visitation will be held Sunday, March 27, 2022, from 3pm to 5pm at Allan Fuller Funeral Home with Rosary to follow afterwards. Online condolences may be made at mullinfullerfuneralhome.com.
