Alfred Ruben Cook, of Wills Point, Texas passed away on Saturday, April 17, 2021, at the age of 73.

Alfred was born on April 24, 1947 in Electra, Texas to the late Marnie and Irma Cook. He was raised in Electra and moved to Wills Point six years ago from Garland. Alfred married Janie on August 28, 1966. He worked at Armour Meat Company retiring after 20 years of service. After retirement he worked at Double T Steakhouse for ten years. Alfred loved golf and held the Club Champion title at Oak Ridge Golf Course.

To cherish his memories, Alfred leaves behind his sons, Kevin Bradley Cook of Vernon, Barry Jean Cook of Wills Point and Jody Alfred Cook of Wills Point; brothers, James Edward Cook of Wills Point, Mickel Dean Cook and Robin of Little Elm and Donald Lynn Cook of Dallas; sisters, Wanda Gail Gann of Georgia, Wilma Boone and Eric of The Woodlands and Marlene Armstrong and Tony; grandchild Bradley James Cook.

Alfred is preceded in death by his parents and sister Maria Reid.
