Allye
Fuller
July 3, 1931 – March 27, 2025
Funeral services for Allye H. Fuller, 93, of Wills Point are scheduled for Sunday, March 30, 2025 at 3:00 p.m. at Mullin-Fuller Funeral Home with Rev. David Cartwright and Rev. Lonnie Cunigan officiating. Family will receive friends from 1:00 p.m. until service time. A private graveside will be held at White Rose Cemetery.
Allye was born July 3, 1931 in Wills Point, the daughter of Robert Wade Howell & Carrie Norwood Howell. She was a lifelong resident of Wills Point and graduated from Wills Point High School in 1948. On January 5, 1952, she married the love of her life, David Lafayette "D.L." Fuller, Jr. They enjoyed being outdoors, gardening and extensive traveling. Allye worked for Malouf Manufacturing Company for several years and later was a bank teller for the First National Bank and retired in 1988, after 30 years of service. Together, she and D.L. had 4 children, Sara Ann, who passed away as an infant, Marilyn, Allan & Selby. She loved the role of being a mother and housewife. Allye had a huge heart for animals; she fed stray cats, raccoons & birds and supported animal shelters by making countless bandanas for the shelter animals. Allye was also known for sending out cards to so many people for their birthdays and anniversaries. She was always thinking of others and loved making them feel special. In January of 2023, Allye moved in with Allan & Darlane when she became unable to care for herself. She spent two years there enjoying watching the deer, birds and squirrels eating in the backyard. She especially loved their three yorkies, Josie, Marlee & Mia and going for rides in the golf cart.
Preceded in death by her parents, Wade & Carrie Howell; husband, D.L. Fuller; infant daughter, Sara Ann Fuller; son-in-law, Bryan Henson; brother, R.N. "Buddy" Howell & wife, Pat; sister Sara Howell; nephew, Bobby Howell; niece, Mary Howell and close friends, Liz Ellis and Dorthy Dillard.
