Alma Sue Johnson, a loving and faith-filled woman, passed away peacefully on March 24, 2026, in Wills Point, Texas. Born on January 14, 1943, in Butler, Pennsylvania Alma lived a life marked by warmth, devotion, and an adventurous spirit that inspired those around her.
Alma was known for her unique way of bringing ideas to life. She had a knack for envisioning projects and encouraging everyone to carry them forward, only to gracefully step away once the journey had begun. This quality, combined with her loving heart and deep faith, left a lasting impression on family and friends alike.
A spiritual woman, Alma enjoyed reading her Bible daily and accumulated a cherished collection of crosses that reflected her spiritual journey. Her love extended beyond people to the many pets she cared for throughout her life. Her enthusiasm for exploring new places was evident in her fondness for driving and leisurely window shopping, activities that brought her great joy and a sense of adventure.
Alma was preceded in death by her husband Leslie Johnson, her daughter Carrie Johnson, and her parents Walter Eugene and Grace Anne Faull. She is survived by a loving family who carry forward her legacy: her four daughters Leslie Davis and husband Mike Davis, Kelley Johnson with her husband David Rowe; Jody Johnson and her husband Joe King; and Brandy Johnson. Alma also leaves behind one brother, Spike Faull. She was a cherished grandmother to six grandchildren and a proud great-grandmother to eight great-grandchildren.
As we remember Alma Sue Johnson, we honor a life lived with steadfast love, unwavering faith, and the gentle encouragement that she gave so freely. Her presence will be deeply missed, but her spirit and influence remain a guiding light for all who knew her.
The family will host a celebratory potluck lunch in honor of Alma at Crossroads Baptist Church 1930 S. Trades Days Blvd. Canton, Texas 75103 on Sunday, April 19, 2026, at 1:00 PM. Services to follow.
