Alvie Sylvester Snow, of Soper, Oklahoma, passed away on Friday, January 15, 2021, at the age of 90.

Alvie was born on June 13, 1930, in Wylie, Texas to the late Jesse and Francis Snow. He married Dorothy Shewbirt on August 27, 1949. Together they had 6 children; Alvie Don Snow and wife Peggy of Rowlett, TX, Brenda Blassingame and husband Rickey of Seadrift, TX, Rickey Snow and wife Betty of Soper, OK, Sheena Snow of Keller, TX, Rodney Snow of Grand Saline, TX and Jessie Snow of Antlers, OK; 12 grandchildren, Denny, Brian, Amber, Shonn, Dakota, Jessica, Justin, Joshua, Sylvester, Cody and Gage; 17 great-grandchildren, Trevor, Dawson, Lance, Kaylee, Jayden, Brinley, Jakeb, Kaleb, Karsen, Tanner, Paige, Lauren, Casey, Hunter, Easton, Connor and Hunter; 4 great-great grandkids, Presley, Bowen, Avery and Jesse; 1 sister Cora Lambert of Commerce, TX.

He is preceded in death by his wife Dorothy, parents, 3 brothers and 1 sister.

Alvie worked at Ford Motor Company until he retired in 1964. He loved gardening, fishing, and hunting. But most of all he loved his family.

Funeral services for Alvie will be held Wednesday, January 27, 2021 at 11:00 p.m. at Allan Fuller Funeral Home in Wills Point, Texas. Family will be accepting guests one hour prior to service for visitation. Burial will follow services at Union Grove Cemetery in Wills Point, Texas.
