Anita Lynn Bridges ( Palmer) passed away on August 21, 2024, in Terrell, Texas, at the age of 64. Born on August 24, 1959, in Tyler, Texas, Anita was a beloved figure known for her sweet, caring, and determined nature.

Anita graduated from Hallsville High School in 1978 and spent many years dedicated to clerical office work at Yellow Freight before her retirement. Outside of her professional life, Anita cherished spending time with her grandchildren, which brought her immense joy and fulfillment.

She is survived by her husband of 46 years, Robert Bridges; her son, Shane Bridges; her daughter, Meagan Bridges and son-in-law Jason Sharp; and her grandchildren, Janson, Klee, Kyra, Landon, Jasmine, Sailor, Tyranny, and Kiah. Anita also leaves behind her brother, Gene Earl Palmer, Jr. She was preceded in death by her father, Gene Earl Palmer, Sr., her mother, Emma Mae Gibson Palmer, her sisters, Theresa Kay Summers, Laura Mae Allen, and an infant sister, as well as her grandparents and numerous aunts and uncles.

The Mullin-Fuller Funeral Home in Wills Point, Texas, is assisting the family during this difficult time. Anita's life and legacy will be celebrated and remembered by all who knew her, as she made a lasting impact through her kindness and perseverance.
