Funeral services for Annell Rushing, 87, of Wills Point, are scheduled for 11:00 a.m. Saturday, November 3, 2018, at Allan Fuller Funeral Home Chapel in Wills Point with Rev. Travis Norrell, Rev. Johnnie Herriage and Rev. Owen Rushing officiating.  Interment will follow at White Rose Cemetery in Wills Point.

She passed away Wednesday afternoon, October 31, 2018, at her residence.

Annell was born September 21, 1931, in Blue Ridge, Texas, the daughter of Johnnie Columbis White and Alta Vernetta Dunn White.  She was raised in Blue Ridge and graduated from Blue Ridge High School.  On September 9, 1949, she married James Charlie Rushing in Pleasant Grove.  Annell was formerly employed as a baker for Tom Thumb in Richardson, retiring in 2006.  After retirement, they moved to Wills Point.  In her spare time, she enjoyed gardening and canning.  Annell was a member of Hayden Baptist Church, south of Wills Point.

Preceded in death by her parents, Johnnie and Alta White; infant sister; two brothers, Willie Rhea White and James Lee White; great-grandson, Hunter Cunningham and a nephew, Rhea Edward White.

Annell is survived by her husband, James C. Rushing, of Wills Point; son, Bruce Rushing & wife, Stacey, of Wills Point; daughter, Terri Glover & husband, Roger, of Wills Point; two brothers-in-law, Edwin Rushing & wife, Joyce, of McKinney and Owen Rushing & wife, Frances, of Farmersville; two sisters-in-law, Sue White, of Blue Ridge and Annie Ruth Worley & husband, James, of Tyler; nine grandchildren, Chris Rushing, John Rushing, Matthew Rushing, Whitney Cunningham, Mike Zekert, Cody Glover, Heather Ripley, Rebecca Zekert and Johnathan Zekert and seven great-grandchildren, Ginny Cunningham, Chase Ripley, Hannah Ripley, Bailey Ripley, Avery Glover, Evelyn Zekert and Miles Zekert.

Family will receive friends at the funeral home Friday evening from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m.
