Arlene Jean Foster, 79, of Edgewood, Texas, passed away on Sunday, July 3, 2022, in Grand Saline, Texas.

Arlene was born on December 5, 1942, to the late Bruce and Gladys Pendleton in Alice, Texas. She was raised in Alice and moved to Edgewood, Texas. Arlene moved to Edgewood 15 years ago. She was a member of Church of Christ in Edgewood. She married the late John C. Foster and the late Johnny Gothia. Arlene retired from Travelers Inc.

Arlene is preceded in death by her parents, late husbands, sister Oleta Atwell and son in law Marshall Henson.

Arlene is survived by her daughter Carla Henson of Edgewood; sister Darlene West and husband George of Houston; grandchildren, Alicia Joyner, Shawn Mills and Ien Henson; and 8 great-grandchildren.
