Barbara Faye Evans, of Mineola, Texas, passed away on Friday, December 9, 2020, at the age of 88.

Barbara was born on November 21, 1932 in Grand Saline, Texas to the late E. Lee and Daisy Faye Davis. She grew up in Corinth, living in Wills Point 42 years and in Mineola the past 8 years. She had been a member of Corinth Missionary Baptist Church. She married her late husband Don F Evans on October 29, 1957, sharing 42 years together. Barbara worked in the medical field in our area most of her life, retiring in 2007. She enjoyed sewing and crafting.

To cherish her memories, Barbara leaves behind her sons, Ronald Dee Evans and wife Patsy of Caddo Mills, Texas, Thomas David Evans and wife Lana of Fort Worth, Texas, and Jonathan Lee Evans and wife Angela of Lindale, Texas; daughters, Donna Burnley and husband Bill of Tyler, Texas and LuAnn Dickerson and husband Mark of Grand Saline, Texas; brother Mike Davis and wife Debbie of Whitehouse, Texas; sisters, Shirley Yarbrough of Grand Saline, Texas and Elaine Wilson of Wylie, Texas; grandchildren, Sara, Clint, Sam, Aubrey, Emma, Hannah, Stephen, Penn, Corey and Nathan; sixteen great-grandchildren.

Barbara is preceded in death by her parents, husband, grandson Wade Evans and brothers, Stanley Davis, Harold Leo and sister Joy Smith.

Graveside service will be held Sunday, December 13, 2020 at 2:00 p.m. at Corinth Cemetery in Grand Saline, Texas. Online condolences may be made at allanfullerfuneralhome.com.
