Barbara Ann Strauss, born on June 10, 1958, in Dallas, Texas, passed away peacefully on January 21, 2025, in Tyler, Texas. She was the beloved daughter of Eldon Duffer and Geneva Mize and was raised in Princeton, Texas.

A proud graduate of Princeton High School's Class of 1976, Barbara went on to build a successful career as a buyer at Raytheon, where she worked until her retirement. Known for her courage, creativity, selflessness, and down-to-earth nature, Barbara touched the lives of many with her warmth and generosity.

Barbara found joy in arts and crafts and had a passion for flower and vegetable gardening. Above all else, she cherished spending time with her family, especially her grandsons, who brought immense happiness to her life.

She is survived by her daughter Nichole Strauss (Jason Ira); her grandsons James Hoff (Jenna) and Cayson Hoff (Brianna Sykes); her special lifelong friend Dave Strauss; nephew James Ishmael (Beth); niece Lori Ishmael; and cousin Sue Hickson.  Barbara was preceded in death by her parents; her brother Robert Duffer; and her sister Mary Katherine Duffer.

Barbara's memory will live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved her. May her legacy of kindness and creativity continue to inspire all who were fortunate enough to share in her life.
