Funeral services for Barbara Jean White, 68, of Edgewood, are scheduled for 2:00 p.m. Thursday, August 13, 2015, at Roundflat Pentecostal Church in Fruitvale with Bro. Homer Morgan officiating. Interment will be at Small Cemetery north of Edgewood under the direction of Allan Fuller Funeral Home in Wills Point.

She passed away early Tuesday morning, August 11, 2015, in Grand Saline.

Barbara was born July 12, 1947, in Dallas, the daughter of William Howard McCord and Sally Cline McCord. She was raised in Dallas, where she attended public school. On September 28, 1963, she married David White in Dallas. Barbara was a homemaker and enjoyed sewing, singing, ceramics, playing bingo and hosting 1st cousin parties. She lived in the Grand Saline and Fruitvale areas most of her life. Barbara attended Roundflat Pentecostal Church in Fruitvale.

Preceded in death by her dad, William Howard McCord on July 3, 2015; sister, Sandra Kay McCord and husband, David Alton White, Sr. on October 23, 2009.

Barbara is survived by her mother, Sally Vestal, of Grand Saline; son, David White, of Grand Saline; daughter, Tanya Smith & husband, Phillip, of Edgewood; brother, Jerry McCord, of Grand Saline; two sisters, Patricia Martin & husband, Gary, of Alba and Tammie Havard & husband, David, of Mineola and two grandsons, Aaron Smith and Ty Smith.

Family will receive friends at the funeral home Wednesday evening from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m.
