Funeral services for Rebecca Lynn "Becky" Edwards, 63, of Edgewood, formerly of Wills Point, are scheduled for 10:00 a.m. Saturday, October 14, 2017, at Allan Fuller Funeral Home Chapel in Wills Point with Rev. Jonathan Gray officiating. Interment will follow at Union Grove Cemetery north of Wills Point.

She passed away early Wednesday morning, October 11, 2017, in Dallas.

Becky was born February 7, 1954, in Grand Prairie, Texas, the daughter of Alford Jonathan Hill and Rita Belle Owens Hill. She was raised in Grand Prairie, where she attended public school. On May 5, 2001, she married William Donnie Edwards, Jr. in Wills Point. Becky was formerly employed as a switchboard operator for Terrell State Hospital, retiring in 2013. She loved crafting and taking care of animals. She lived in Grand Prairie prior to moving to Wills Point thirty-two years ago. Becky was a member of Calvary Baptist Church in Wills Point.

Preceded in death by her parents, A.J. and Rita Hill and an infant brother.

Becky is survived by her husband, Bill Edwards, of Edgewood; daughter, April Showler & husband, Mark, of Ft. Wayne, Indiana; sister, Patricia Atteberry and Don Walker, of Mesquite; two grandchildren, Collin Showler and Corey Showler; several nieces, nephews and other relatives.

Family will receive friends at the funeral home one hour prior to funeral service.
