Funeral service for Bennie Bernard "Ben" Davis, Sr. 70, of Wills Point, is scheduled for 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, March 13, 2018, at Allan Fuller Funeral Home Chapel in Wills Point with Bro. Billy Smith officiating.  Masonic graveside service will be at White Rose in Wills Point.

He passed away early Friday morning, March 9, 2018, in Dallas.

Ben was born October 28, 1947, in Wills Point, the son of Walter H. Davis and Lela Mae Burington Davis.  He was a lifelong resident of Wills Point.  Ben was a veteran of the United States Army, having served during the Vietnam War.  He was formerly employed by the First National Bank in Wills Point, where he was a credit adjuster.  Ben was a member of Elwood Baptist Church north of Wills Point.

Preceded in death by his parents, Walter and Lela Mae Davis and a brother, A. Lamar Davis.

Ben is survived by two sons, Bennie B. Davis, Jr. and Roy H. Davis; daughter, Malisa G. Chaney and two step-daughters, Kari L. Bowlby and Kristi D. Chavez.

Family will receive friends at the funeral home Tuesday morning one hour prior to service.
