Funeral services for Bert Turner, 81, of Wills Point, are scheduled for 6:30 p.m. Tuesday, November 29, 2016, at the Wills Point Church of Christ with Mark Turner and Bobbi Byford officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Allan Fuller Funeral Home in Wills Point.

She passed away Saturday evening, November 26, 2016, in Canton.

Bert was born February 10, 1935, in Bowdre Township, Illinois, the daughter of Art Blaney and Ruby Kearns Blaney. She was raised in Atwood, Illinois and graduated from Atwood High School in 1953. On September 4, 1954, she married Robert Reynolds Turner in Tuscola, Illinois. They lived in Dallas prior to moving to Wills Point in 1966. Bert was employed as office manager for the Wills Point Chronicle for forty-four years, retiring in 2012. In her spare time, she enjoyed playing bingo and reading. She was a member of the Wills Point Pilot Club and Circle Ten Council for Scouts, where she was former Cub Master and Scout Master. Bert attended the Wills Point Church of Christ.

Preceded in death by her parents, Art & Ruby Blaney and husband, Robert R. "Bob" Turner on April 4, 2011.

Bert is survived by three sons, Mark Turner & wife, Cathy, of Wills Point, Kyle Turner, of Wills Point and Kurt Turner, of Wills Point; daughter, Bobbi Byford & husband, Larry, of Edgewood; three sisters, Doris High, of Terrell, Micki Blaney, of Arthur, Illinois and Sue Falk, of Arthur, Illinois; four grandchildren, Robin Prachyl & husband, Will, of Rusk, Leah Armstrong & husband, Bud, of Chandler, Grant Turner, of Watauga and Katie Morris & husband, Dusty, of Paris; five great-grandchildren, Delanie Armstrong, Mary-Kathryn Armstrong, Emery Armstrong, Alexis Prachyl and Granger Prachyl and extended family member, Carol Johnson, of Wills Point.

Family will receive friends at the Wills Point Church of Christ Tuesday from 5:00 - 6:30 p.m.
