Visitation service for Betty Arlene Borgstrom, 85, of Wills Point, is scheduled for 1:00–3:00 p.m. Friday, June 9, 2017, at Allan Fuller Funeral Home Chapel in Wills Point.
She passed away early Monday morning, June 5, 2017, in Wills Point.
Betty was born December 22, 1931, in Lancaster, Pennsylvania, the daughter of William J. Rapp, Sr. and Lydia Miller Rapp. She was raised in Paradise, Pennsylvania and graduated from Paradise High School. Betty was married to Clyde Krieder for two years, Lester Carper for twenty years and Chuck Borgstrom for two years. She was formerly employed by National Banner Company, Alexander Plastics, Morgan Plastics and retired from Greenville Trophies in 1995. She lived in Quinlan prior to moving to Wills Point in 2000. Betty enjoyed working crossword puzzles and watching the Texas Rangers. She loved Betty Boop and that was also her nickname. Betty was of the Presbyterian faith.
Preceded in death by her parents, William J. Rapp, Sr. and Lydia Rapp; three husbands, Clyde Krieder, Lester Carper and Chuck Borgstrom and two brothers, William Rapp, Jr. and Everett Rapp.
Betty is survived by two sons, David Carper & wife, Betty, of Wills Point and Terry Carper & wife, Geisla, of Culpepper, Virginia; two daughters, Lisa Timlick & husband, Buddy, of Clear Lake, California and Cindy Carper, of Harrison Township, Michigan; ten grandchildren, Shawn Diaz, David Gardiner, Dustin Carper, Jaime Johnston, Robert Gardiner, Corey Gardiner, Robert Charles Hankins, Roberto Puente, Jesus Puente and Maria Puente and numerous great-grandchildren.
