Betty Lou Haynes, of Wills Point, Texas, passed away on Thursday, December 10, 2020, at the age of 81.

Betty was born on October 29, 1939 in Newaygo, Michigan, to Stanley and Ana Thomas. She married Clarence Haynes on November 30, 1963 and together they moved to Wills Point in 1967. She retired from Maloufs' Sewing Factory in 1987. She enjoyed crocheting, sewing, crafting and crossword puzzles.

To cherish her memories, Betty leaves behind her siblings, Henry Thomas and Vivian Thomas Williams; children, Karen Gardner and husband Roger of Ben Wheeler, Sandra Kittle of Fort Worth, Misti Haynes Bury and husband Shawn of Wills Point, and Weldon Haynes and wife Mandy of Wills Point; 16 grandchildren and 19 great grandchildren.

Betty is preceded in death by her husband Clarence Haynes, parents and siblings; Helen Thomas Longcore, Stanley Thomas II, Joseph Thomas, Nellie Thomas Carr, Patricia Thomas Slade, James Thomas, Philip Thomas and Mary Thomas Esterling; grandson Jason Kittle.
