Betty Sanders, aged 83, of Wills Point, Texas, passed away on March 4, 2024 in Kaufman, Texas. She was born on November 18, 1940, in Carthage, Texas, to the late Bernard and Emma Wilkerson. Betty was a spirited, passionate, and creative individual who touched the lives of many.

Betty graduated from Wills Point High School in the Class of 1959 and pursued higher education at TVCC, becoming a dedicated nurse - LVN. She worshipped at the First Baptist Church in Wills Point, Texas, where she found solace and community. In her free time, Betty enjoyed flower arranging, listening to music, and reading. Her love for these hobbies reflected her nurturing and artistic personality.

Betty is survived by her daughter, Linda Williams of Wills Point, Texas; sons, Mike Sanders and wife, Vickie of Whitehouse, Texas, and Bobby Sanders of Dallas, Texas; sister, Carolyn Coleman; three grandchildren, Jeff Sanders, Scott Sanders, and Michael Williams; 10 great-grandchildren; a host of nieces, nephews, and friends. She was preceded in death by her husband of 51 years, Gordon Sanders, and sister, Joanne Murphy.

A visitation will be held on Saturday, March 9, 2024, from 10:00 am - 12:00 pm at Mullin-Fuller Funeral Home, located at 205 Corky Boyd Ave., Wills Point, Texas. A Graveside Service will follow at White Rose Cemetery, where Betty will be laid to rest.
