Beverly Wilhite, (Harris), passed away peacefully on June 10, 2025, in Tyler, Texas, at the age of 71.
Born on May 17, 1954, in Pawhuska, Oklahoma, Beverly was the daughter of Curtis and Rose Spangler Harris. She spent her formative years in Texas and graduated with the class of 1972 from LD Bell High School in Hurst. Her strong work ethic and leadership skills led her to a successful career as a manager at Aamco Automotive in Euless, Texas.
In 2002, Beverly married Jason Wilhite in Roanoke, Texas. Their union was marked by love and shared devotion that spanned over two decades. Together they built a life filled with family and meaningful connections. For the past three years, Beverly and Jason made their home in Canton, Texas, after many years residing in Watauga.
Beverly was a devoted mother to her daughters Tina Smith and husband Fred, Amanda Gonzalez and husband Ricardo, and the late Tanya Russom. She cherished her role as grandmother to Kara, Bryanna, Katie, Kayla, Elijah, Nicolas, Diego, and Fabian. Her family was the heart of her world.
She is also remembered by her brother Charles Harris and sister Marsha Allinder. Beverly was preceded in death by her parents; daughter Tanya; brother Ronnie Harris; and sister Linda Harris.
A woman of deep faith and heritage, Beverly was of the Catholic faith and an active member of the Pythian Sisters. She took great pride in her Indian heritage and found joy in crocheting intricate pieces for loved ones. Her fondness for sunflowers brightened both her home and spirit—symbols of warmth that reflected her personality.
Beverly will be remembered for her loving nature, intelligence, and passionate spirit. Her memory will live on through those who knew and loved her.
May her memory bring comfort to all who mourn her passing. A Visitation will be held on June 13, 2025, from 05:00 PM to 07:00 PM at Mullin-Fuller Funeral Home Chapel 205 Corky Boyd Ave in Wills Point.
