Billie Jewel Powell, of Wills Point, Texas passed away on Monday, April 12, 2021, at the age of 91.

Billie was born on September 1, 1929 to the late George and Emma Smith in Center Point, Arkansas. She spent most of her life in Wills Point, Texas, marrying her late husband of 29 years Douglas Fairbanks. Billie was a member of First Baptist Church of Wills Point. She worked for Wills Point ISD in the food service department retiring in 1993. She enjoyed traveling with her companion of 25 years, Bonnie "Bo" Bridges. Billie loved her dog Sissy.

To cherish her memories, Billie leaves behind her companion Bonnie of Terrell, Texas; son Jason Powell of Corsicana, Texas; daughter Pamela King Fowler of Frankston, Texas; brother Rev. Bobby Smith and Diana of Hurst, Texas; grandchildren, Adrianna Powell, Monty Powell, Scott Willis, Donnie Willis, Annabelle Powell, Ellie Powell and Graham King; 9 great-grandchildren and 4 great-great grandchildren; along with many other living relatives and friends.

Billie is preceded in death by her parents, husband, son Ronnie King, sisters Irma Dean Pierce, Georgia Pearson, Dorothy Wilson and brother Marvin Eugene Smith.

Family will be receiving guests Friday, April 16, 2021 at 1:00 p.m. at First Baptist Church of Wills Point. Services will follow at 2:00 p.m. Burial will be held at Haven of Memories in Canton, Texas.
