Funeral services for Bobby C. Bridges, 84, of Wills Point, are scheduled for 10:00 a.m. Thursday, January 1, 2015 at the New Journey Church of God in Edgewood with Bishop Casey Cook officiating. Interment will follow at White Rose Cemetery in Wills Point under the direction of Allan Fuller Funeral Home in Wills Point.

He passed away early Tuesday morning, December 30, 2014, in Wills Point.

Bobby was born August 18, 1930 in Franklin, Indiana, the son of Russell Bridges, Sr. and Muriel Grace Barbee Bridges. He was raised in Marion, Indiana, where he attended school. Bobby was a veteran of the United States Navy. On January 8, 1967, he married Mary Lucille Martin in Bunker Hill, Indiana. Bobby was self–employed in the commercial floor cleaning business, retiring two months ago when his health failed. He enjoyed serving his church, wood working and fishing. He lived in Dallas prior to moving to Wills Point in 1987. Bobby was a member of the New Journey Church of God in Edgewood.

Preceded in death by his parents; two brothers, David Bridges and Russell Bridges, Jr. and two sisters, Wilma Nicholson and Barbara Patterson.

Bobby is survived by his wife, Mary Bridges, of Wills Point; four sons, Robert Lepkojus & wife, Donna, of Wills Point, Ted Lepkojus & wife, Susan, of California, David Lepkojus, of Colorado and Larry Bridges, of Indiana; four daughters, Linda Rusk & husband, Todd, of Wills Point, Anna Osborne & husband, Allan, of Wills Point, Vickie Ahrens, of Indiana and Linda Blackburn & husband, Roger, of Indiana; eight grandchildren; twelve great-grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren.

Pallbearers: Damon Mottarn, Kelly Cameron, Jeremy Adams, James Clair, Larry Burnett and David Ellis

Family will receive friends at the funeral home Wednesday evening from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m.
