Bobby Gene Stringer, of Wills Point, Texas passed away on Monday, March 29, 2021, at the age of 90.

Bobby was born on January 6, 1931 to the late Robert Jessie and Lillian Lorene Stringer. He was raised and spent most of his life in Myrtle Springs. Bobby married his late wife Jane Phipps on April 8, 1950. He was a skilled entrepreneur, growing and selling gladiolas, he opened RJ Stringer & Sons Wholesale Florist in Dallas, Tyler Flower Market and Sooner Wholesale Florist in Tulsa. Bobby also helped to start Bank of Van Zandt and Bank of East Texas in Tyler. After retirement from Stringer Wholesale Florist in 1993 he spent most of his time as a cattle rancher. Bob married Tresea Willoughby on May 8, 2010 until his passing.

To cherish his memories, Bobby leaves behind his wife Tresea Stringer of Wills Point; bonus son Clinton Godwin of Wylie; daughters Patty Burns and Gary of Canton and Suzanne McWilliams and Mark of Canton; bonus daughters, Amy Marble of Mineola and Amanda Crow and Bret of Canton; grandchildren, Meredith and Jeremiah Bastian, Logan McWilliams, Lauren and Sam Himmelhaver, Brooke and Ryan Whitfield, Brittany and Justin Brummitt, Kandice and Matt Hargrove, Ashley and Daniel Contreras, Taylor Grant, Alex Grant, Abby Grant, Saylor Crow, Skylar Godwin and Clinton Matthew Godwin Jr.; great-grandchildren, Braddock Bastian, Georgia Bastian, Josie Bastian, Meyer Himmelhaver, Millie Himmelhaver, Allie Carter, Maddox Whitfield, Landon Whitfield, Sophia Contreras, Harrison Brumit, Adeline Brumit, Kylie Hargrove, Kaiden Hargrove, Paisley Hargrove and Gracelyn Hargrove: son-in-law Jerry Stone.

Bobby is preceded in death by his parents; first wife Jane Phipps Stringer; brother Don Stringer; step-daughter, Sherry Stone and son-in-law James Grant.

Family will be receiving guests Thursday, April 1, 2021 at Allan Fuller Funeral Home at 1:00 p.m. for visitation services. Funeral services will follow at 2:00 p.m. at Allan Fuller Funeral Home.
