Funeral services for Brian Lee Parsons, Sr., 81, of Terrell, formerly of Wills Point, are scheduled for 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, December 9, 2015, at Allan Fuller Funeral Home Chapel in Wills Point with Pastor Matt Ward officiating. Military graveside service will follow at Locust Grove Cemetery south of Wills Point.

He passed away Friday morning, December 4, 2015 in Terrell.

Brian was born July 4, 1934, in Louisville, Kentucky, the son of Carl Parsons and Ruth Marie Winn Parsons. He was raised in the Houston area where he attended public school. Brian was a veteran of the United States Navy, having served during the Korean Conflict. He was formerly employed by the county of Rockwall in road construction for several years before retiring. He lived in Dallas prior to moving to Wills Point fifty years ago and later resided in Terrell. He enjoyed baking bread and taking care of the church. Brian was a member of Locust Grove Baptist Church south of Wills Point.

Preceded in death by his parents, Carl and Ruth Marie Parsons and a brother Burl Parsons.

Brian is survived by a son, Brian L. Parsons, Jr, of Wills Point; two daughters, Sherry Roberts & husband, Charlie, of Forney and Jenny Helton, of Plano; brother, Ronald Parsons, of Baytown and several grandchildren.

Family will receive friends at the funeral home Wednesday afternoon from 1:00 – 2:00 p.m.
