Bryan "Buddy" Thomas Boothe, 90, of Wills Point, Texas went to his heavenly home on Tuesday, May 30, 2023, surrounded by his family.

Bryan was born on June 24, 1932, in Edgewood, Texas to Addie Walton Boothe and Edna Olive Johnson Boothe.

Bryan attended Edgewood High School.  He served in the United States Navy from December of 1951 to December of 1955. Bryan served in the Korean War where he was awarded the National Defense Service Medal, Korean Service Medal (3 Star), and United Nations Service Medal.

Bryan married the love of his life, Helen Bates Boothe in 1955.  He was employed with Lindale Machine, Marsco, and was a minister at Locust Grove Baptist Church, where he retired in 1995.

He enjoyed spending his time farming, hunting, listening to music, and playing his guitar.  He was a part of Atomic Veteran Organization.

Bryan is preceded in death by his parents, two brothers: Addie Walton Lee Boothe and James Earl Boothe; two sisters Martha Carter and Glenda Forrister.

He is survived by this wife Helen Boothe; four sons: William Thomas Boothe and wife Ann, Blake Edward Boothe and wife Tammy, Paul Russell Boothe and wife Misty, Bryan Henry Boothe and wife Jamee; one daughter Terra Lee McCasland and husband Ronnie; fourteen grandchildren and many great-grandchildren; and a slew of friends and relatives.

Visitation will be held at Mullin-Fuller Funeral Home Thursday, June 1, 2023, at 5:00 p.m. Graveside service will be held Friday June 2, 2023, at Locust Grove Cemetery at 11:00 a.m.
