Obituary

Burrell Carter "Bubba" Hendley, Jr., 65, a lifelong resident of Wills Point, Texas, passed away on February 25, 2025, at his home.

Burrell was born in Dallas, Texas, to Burrell Carter Hendley, Sr., and Betty Sue Hendley. He attended Wills Point High School and graduated with the Class of 1977. He dedicated his career to the City of Terrell's Water and Sewer Department, where he worked diligently until his retirement in 2000.

A man known for his spirited nature and handy skills, Burrell found joy in life's simple pleasures. He was an avid fan of wrestling and rarely missed watching matches on Monday and Friday nights. His faith was important to him, and he was a devoted member of the Wills Point Church of Christ.

Burrell is survived by his daughter, Misty Stone (Freddy); his sister, Tammy Henley Eskew; grandchildren Ryan, Austin, Stoney, and Malia; and his nephew, Charlie Jones. He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Donna, as well as his parents.

A celebration of life will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, March 4, 2025, at Mullin-Fuller Funeral Home, located at 205 Corky Boyd Ave. in Wills Point.

Burrell's memory will live on in the hearts of those who knew him.
