Carla Jean Henson, born on November 13, 1963, passed away peacefully on January 31, 2025.

Carla was a devoted mother to her four children: sons, Bodie Mills and his wife Holly, Shawn Mills, and Joseph Henson; and her daughter Alicia Joyner. She was also a proud grandmother to seven grandchildren: Carly Bahm, Cadence Bolin, Cristin Bolin, Cole Mills, Tristin Mills, Gage Mills, and Paislee Henson. Her legacy extended further with two great-grandchildren, Camilla Sanchez and Miguel Sanchez. Carla cherished her family deeply and found immense joy in spending time with them.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her beloved husband Marshall Henson, and other loved ones who undoubtedly welcomed her with open arms.

Carla had a love for cooking, fishing and animals in general. She enjoyed the simple pleasures of life such as watching television and creating memories with her grandchildren. She will be remembered for her courageous spirit, selflessness, and adventurous nature that inspired those around her.

A woman of strong faith, Carla was of the Pentecostal faith, which guided her throughout her life.
