Funeral services for Celia Gonzalez Calzada, 62, of Wills Point, are scheduled for 2:00 p.m. Thursday, April 6, 2017, at St. Luke's Catholic Church in Wills Point with Rev. Patrick Fenton and Hector Gonzalez officiating. Interment will follow at White Rose Cemetery in Wills Point under the direction of Allan Fuller Funeral Home in Wills Point.

She passed away early Sunday morning, April 2, 2017, at Baylor Hospital in Dallas, surrounded by her family.

Celia was born June 8, 1954, in Robstown, Texas, the daughter of Jesus Diaz Gonzalez and Lucia Castillo Gonzalez. She was raised in Wills Point, where she attended public school. Celia was formerly employed by Fuji Film in Terrell for thirty years and was a teacher's aide at the Wills Point Middle School for the past seven years. She lived in Comanche prior to moving to Wills Point in 1964. She enjoyed dancing, playing games and spending time with her family. Celia was a member of St. Luke's Catholic Church in Wills Point.

Preceded in death by her father, Jesus Diaz Gonzalez on March 21, 2001; mother, Lucia Castillo Gonzalez on December 9, 2003 and a brother, Ricardo Castillo Gonzalez on October 10, 1998.

Celia is survived by two sons, Frankie Moreno & wife, Marie, of Wills Point and Adam Moreno & wife, Maria Del Carmen, of Terrell; two daughters, Lucia Gonzalez, of Wills Point and Crystal Flores, of Wills Point; three brothers, Jesse Gonzalez & wife, Oralia, of Wills Point, Hector Gonzalez & wife, Minerva, of Wills Point and Juan Gonzalez, of Albuquerque, New Mexico; sister, Christine Bauer & husband, Brad, of Euless; nine grandchildren, Julio, Angelica, Shyla, Robert, Savanah, Korbein, Kane, Abraham and Lia; numerous aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.

Rosary will be Wednesday evening at 6:00 p.m. at Allan Fuller Funeral Home Chapel.
