Charles Edward Bell, Jr., age 58, passed away on January 15, 2026, in Wills Point, Texas. Born on October 31, 1967, in Dallas, Texas, Charles lived a life marked by resilience, generosity, and deep devotion to his family and faith.
A proud graduate of David W. Carter High School in Dallas, Charles was raised in the heart of the city where he developed a strong work ethic and a compassionate spirit. Throughout his life, he held various odd and end jobs—always willing to lend a hand wherever it was needed. His dedication to helping others was a defining trait that those who knew him will remember fondly.
Charles made his home in Wills Point for over a decade, where he continued to live out his values of hard work and kindness. He was known for being loving and dependable—someone who could be counted on in times of need. Whether offering support to friends or cheering on his beloved Dallas Cowboys during football season, Charles brought warmth and sincerity to every interaction.
He found great joy in spending time with his family. He is lovingly remembered by his son, Charles Edward Bell III; daughters Cassandra Bell and her spouse Angela Riley, and Breanna Bell; and grandchildren Christopher Allen Brown and Josiah Lee Kines. His presence will also be deeply missed by his brothers Reginald Bell and wife Regina, and Reverend George Bell and wife Kimberly.
Charles was preceded in death by his beloved wife Shelly Dodson and his parents Charles Edward Bell, Sr. and Virgil Williams.
Rooted in Christian faith throughout his life, Charles carried himself with humility and grace. His legacy lives on through the lives he touched with his unwavering support and generous heart.
