Funeral services for Charles Lynn Rogers, 30, of Edgewood, are scheduled for 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, November 16, 2016, at Allan Fuller Funeral Home Chapel in Wills Point with Pastor Brandon Bachtel officiating. Interment will follow at Small Cemetery north of Edgewood.

He passed away early Saturday morning, November 12, 2016, at Mother Frances Hospital in Tyler surrounded by his family.

Charles was born on October 26, 1986, in Dallas, the son of Bart Rogers and Brenda Baldwin. He was a life-long resident of Edgewood and graduated from Edgewood High School in 2004. Charles was a self-employed carpenter. In his spare time, he enjoyed fishing, hunting and watching the Dallas Cowboys. He was of the Baptist faith. Charles final act was to give the gift of life through organ donation.

Preceded in death by his grandfather, Carlton Rogers and three cousins, Josh Sims, Luke Humphries and Krystal Rae Poteet.

Charles is survived by his father, Bart Rogers, Sr., of Dallas; grandparents, Janie Rohus & husband, Curtis, of Edgewood; brother, Bart Rogers, Jr., of Dallas; aunts, uncles, cousins and other relatives.

Family will receive friends at the funeral home Wednesday morning from 10:00 – 11:00 a.m. prior to the funeral service.
