Christopher Paul Lemond, passed away at the age of 47, on July 17, 2020, in Tyler, Texas. He was born on November 7, 1972, to Paul and Elizabeth Lemond in Kaufman, Tx.  Chris attended school in Seagoville at the Science & Engineering Magnet in Dallas, Texas and graduated with honors from Seagoville High School in 1990. Chris worked in the Information Technology field and loved everything about computers.

Chris was an avid fan of sci-fi, everything from Dr. Who to Star Trek, (Chris' first sentence was, "Space…The Final Frontier"). He had a multitude of friends and enjoyed the medieval role playing game of Amtgard for many years. Chris was articulate, creative, fun, and loving.

Those left to cherish his memory are his mother and father, Paul and Elizabeth Lemond; sister, Leslie Fortner; brother-in-law Jon Fortner; nephews Travis Fortner and Chase Fortner; niece Jennifer Fortner; and grandfather William "(Bud") McClure. He leaves many aunts, uncles, cousins, great nieces and nephews, great aunts and uncles, and cousins and many friends all of whom he loved so much.

He is preceded in death by his grandfather, BJ ("Grandad") Smithey, grandmother Elizabeth ("Nanny") Bright, grandmother Elizabeth ("Grandmother") McClure,   grandmother Ollie ("Granny") Lemond and grandfather Arnold ("Dink") Lemond.
