Obituary

Christopher Nilssen Musholt, a beloved husband, father, and grandfather, passed away on November 23, 2024, in Weaverville, California. Born on March 26, 1964, in Weaverville and raised in Hayfork, California, Christopher was the cherished son of the late John and Barbara Musholt.

Christopher was affectionately known as "Pop" by mostly everyone that knew him. He was known for his kindness, gentleness, and generosity, Christopher was a man who found joy in the simple pleasures of life. He was an avid outdoorsman, enjoying hunting and fishing, and had a passion for woodworking. He had a deep love for cooking and barbecuing for family and friends.

He is survived by his devoted wife, Deborah Musholt, and his loving daughters, Holley Smith and her husband Brad, and Kristyn Jeter and her husband Jason. He was a proud Pop to Amber, Ali, and Carli Smith, Andrew Walters, and Bridget Jeter. His family extended to his sister, Rody Montero, and his brother-in-laws, David Davis and his wife Cheryl, and Kyle Davis and his wife Melissa. He also leaves behind his great-niece, Nettie Cotten, and great-nephew, Hunter Cotten, as well as his mother-in-law, Reba Davis, and numerous other family members who held a special place in his heart. Christopher was preceded in death by his parents and his brother, Michael Musholt.

A visitation will be held on Saturday, December 7, 2024, at 11:00 am, followed by graveside services at Bright Star Cemetery at 12:30 pm. Christopher's legacy of love and warmth will be cherished by all who knew him, and his memory will forever remain in the hearts of his family and friends.
