Cynthia "Cindy" Lynn Houston, 56, of Kaufman, Texas, passed away on Wednesday, December 22, 2021, in Dallas, Texas.

Cindy was born December 14, 1965, in Dallas, Texas to Jim Romo and Zana Kiser Romo.  She was raised in the Dallas area and graduated from Mesquite High School in 1983.  Cindy married Danny Houston on December 6, 1990.  They moved to Peeltown nineteen years ago, coming from Terrell.  She enjoyed skeet shooting, looking for antiques, going to auctions and writing poems.  Cindy retired from Presbyterian Hospital in Kaufman.

Cindy is preceded in death by her father, Jim Romo and brother, Christopher Romo.

Survivors include her husband, Danny Houston, of Peeltown; mother, Zana Romo, of Peeltown; son, Coty Houston, of Kemp; daughter, Hailey Houston, of Kaufman and one grandson, Vincent Houston.

Funeral service will be held Wednesday, December 29, 2021, at 11:00 a.m. at Allan Fuller Funeral Home.  Family will be accepting guests one hour prior for visitation.  Cindy will be laid to rest at Grove Hill Memorial Park in Dallas, Texas.
