Funeral services for Cynthia Kay "Cindy" Plumlee, 56, of Wills Point, are scheduled for 2:00 p.m. Friday, July 3, 2015, at Allan Fuller Funeral Home Chapel in Wills Point with Bro. Joe Plumlee and Rev. Mike Stone officiating. Interment will follow at Rock Hill Cemetery near Wills Point.

She passed away Tuesday, June 30, 2015, at Baylor Hospital in Dallas surrounded by her family.

Cindy was born on December 14, 1958, in Corsicana, the daughter of Chester Ray White and Betty Beatrice Williams White. She was raised in Dallas and in 1976, she graduated from Bryan Adams High School. On August 12, 1978, she married Benny Lee Kennemer in Dallas. She was a certified medical coder for twenty-five years and the last seven years were from home for a corporation that owned Long Term Care Hospitals in several states. After Benny passed away, she married Joe Plumlee on June 11, 2011 in Myrtle Springs. Cindy enjoyed traveling, shopping, going to the movies, The Eagles and cooking. She loved her family very much, especially her grandchildren. She lived in Mesquite prior to moving to Wills Point in 1988. Cindy was a devout Christian and was a member of Life House Church in Myrtle Springs, where she sang in the Gospel Group at nursing homes and churches.

Preceded in death by her grandparents; father, Chester White on September 21, 2002; husband, Benny Kennemer on August 31, 2008; step-father, Joe Ed "Papa Joe" Chambless on January 11, 2014; father-in-law, Ben Kennemer and three uncles, Barney Williams, J.C. Williams and Joe White.

Cindy is survived by her husband, Joe Plumlee, of Wills Point; mother, Betty White Chambless, of Wills Point; two sons, Christopher Kennemer & wife, Margaret, of Gilmer and Brandon Kennemer, of Dallas; sister, Teresa Wagner & her son, Paul Lohmeyer, of Mesquite; step-daughter, Jennifer Craddock & husband, Jason, of Grand Prairie; two step-sisters, Theresa Tidwell & husband, Jerry, of Canton and Linda Sue Thompson & husband, Larry, of Canton; three step-brothers, Joe Eddie Chambless, Jr. & wife, Peggy, of Canton, Tommy Chambless & wife, Alice, of Canton and Billy Chambless & wife, Juanita, of Grand Prairie; mother-in-law, Jane Kennemer, of Mesquite; three brothers-in-law, Don Plumlee & wife, Patsy, of Wills Point, Richard Kennemer & wife, Marge, of Mesquite and Steve Kennemer & wife, Debbie, of Mesquite; sister-in-law, Barbara Holmes, of Mesquite; six grandchildren, Bentlee Kennemer, Elijah Kennemer, Cash Coleman, Samantha Coleman, Avery Craddock and Dylan Craddock; special cousin, J'Nette Allred, of Austin and other relatives and friends.
