Funeral services for Dale Warren Davis, Sr., 74, of Wills Point, are scheduled for 11:00 a.m. Saturday, February 23, 2019, at Allan Fuller Funeral Home Chapel in Wills Point with Bro. Billy Smith officiating.  Interment will follow at Bright Star Cemetery north of Wills Point.

He passed away Saturday evening, February 16, 2019, at Hospice of East Texas in Tyler.

Dale was born January 21, 1945, in Dallas, Texas, the son of Richard Warren Davis and Mamie Lois Curtis Davis.  He attended Irving High School.  On January 7, 1961, he married Linda Jean Golden in Dallas.  Dale was formerly employed as a truck driver for Frito Lay, retiring in 1999.  Prior to moving to Wills Point in 2000, they lived in Grand Prairie.

Preceded in death by his parents, Richard & Lois Davis; wife, Linda Jean Davis on October 9, 2010 and a sister, Peggy Jean Davis Jaco in 2006.  Also preceded in death by his fur friends, Scooter, Tinkerbelle and Myrtle Mae.

Dale is survived by his two sons, Dale Davis, Jr., of Wills Point and Greg Davis & wife, Debbie, of New Braunfels; step-son, Billy Wilson; daughter, Lindy Lewis, of Wills Point; two brothers, Charles Davis & wife, Paulette, of Chandler and Jimmy Davis & wife, Charlotte, of Winnsboro; sister, Sandra Davis and David Priest, of Irving; nine grandchildren and thirteen great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers:  Royce Lynn Golden, Enrik Negrete, Chuck Davis, Mark Davis, Mike Davis and Eric McLain

Family will receive friends at the funeral home Saturday morning one hour prior to service.
