"Momma called her Home"

Darlene Sue Brumbaugh, 68, of Scurry, Texas died at 7:30 pm Thursday, March 9, 2023, at her home.  She was born on September 17, 1954, in Winnsboro, TX to William and Lois Tiner.

She is survived by her children: Jennifer Phillips, John Phillips Jr. and wife Stacie, Chazette Brumbaugh, Stephanie Brumbaugh and husband, Jackie Hefti.  She is also survived by two siblings: brother Donald Tiner and sister Susan Coop, along with niece Tammy Tiner and Nephew Lloyd Timms Jr.

Darlene was blessed with 15 grandchildren: Destini, Carisma, Darian, Daylen, Izayah, Jevin, J.R., Tyson, Juju, Jayden, Jaylanna, Trey, Jaylynn, Jaycie, and Jett.

Darlene was a strong-willed woman who had fought colon cancer for the past three years.  She enjoyed her kids and grandkids along with her close friends.  She loved to have a good time with country music and company.  She was funny and outgoing.  She will be dearly missed.

She is preceded in death by her grandparents, father and mother, William and Lois Tiner, brothers: Charles Tiner and Billy Tiner; sister Linda Williams.

Services will be held at Mullin-Fuller Funeral Home located at 205 Corky Boyd Ave in Wills Point, Texas on Saturday, March 18, 2023 at 12:00 p.m.
