Allan Fuller Funeral Home: Wills Point, TX: Caring and Dignified Funeral and Cremation Services
Services will be held at a later date for Darlene May Roberts, 88, of Wills Point, formerly of Dallas. Viewing is scheduled for Wednesday morning October 28, 2015 from 10:00 – 12:30 p.m. Interment followed at 1:00 p.m. at Bright Star Cemetery north of Wills Point under the direction of Allan Fuller Funeral Home in Wills Point.
She passed away early Monday morning, October 26, 2015, at Crestwood Nursing Home in Wills Point.
Darlene was born August 27, 1927, the daughter of Hurley S. Divelbiss and Della Marie Jeffers Divelbiss. She was raised in Hemple, Missouri, where she graduated high school. Darlene married Buddy Roberts and later they divorced. She was formerly employed by Dean Witter in Ft. Worth and Braniff International Airways in Dallas. She enjoyed reading and going for a walk. Darlene lived in Dallas prior to moving to Wills Point in 2005.
Preceded in death by her parents; son, Gary Lane Roberts and a sister, Catherine Marie Ford.
Darlene is survived by a niece, Karen Miller, of Kansas City, Missouri.
