Funeral services for David Aaron England, Jr., 70, of Wills Point, are scheduled for 11:00 a.m. Saturday, January 6, 2018, at Allan Fuller Funeral Home in Wills Point with Mr. Brent Nichols officiating. Interment will follow at White Rose Cemetery in Wills Point.
He passed away Tuesday night, January 2, 2018, at Presbyterian Hospital in Rockwall.
David was born April 18, 1947, in Dallas, Texas, the son of David Aaron England, Sr. and Doris Katherine Bell England. He was raised in Dallas and in 1965, he graduated from Kimball High School. In 1970, he graduated from U.T. of Arlington. On April 5, 1969, he married Brenda Miller in Dallas. David was formerly employed by Sargent & Lundy in Chicago, Brown & Root in Houston, Houston Power & Light and retired in 2014, from American Electric Power in Dallas. Thirty-six years ago, David and Brenda left Houston and moved to Wills Point. In his spare time, he enjoyed playing golf, reading, wood working and playing with his dog, Cooper. David also enjoyed spending time with his kids and grandchildren. He was a member of Russell Memorial United Methodist Church in Wills Point.
Preceded in death by his parents, David Aaron and Doris Katherine England and two nephews, Kyle England and Robert Green, Jr.
David is survived by his wife, Brenda England, of Wills Point; two sons, David "Trey" England & wife, Heather, of Wills Point and Alan C. England & wife, Jennifer, of Heath; daughter, Angela L. Shatto & husband, Cary, of Heath; brother, James "Chris" England & wife, Angie, of Cedar Hill; sister, Katherine Green & Bob, of Sachse; eight grandchildren, Austin England, Brooks England, Ellie King, Jax King, Shea Shatto, Madelyn Shatto, Jillian Shatto and Piper England; step-mother, Brenda J. England, of Wills Point; step-brother, Matthew England, of Wills Point; other relatives and friends and last but not least, his beloved dog, Cooper.
Family will receive friends at the funeral home Saturday one hour prior to service.
