Funeral services for Davy Ray Willoughby, 58, of Wylie, formerly of Wills Point, are scheduled 2:00 p.m. Sunday, July 7, 2019, at Allan Fuller Funeral Home Chapel in Wills Point with Marty Weesner officiating.
He passed away suddenly Thursday morning, July 4, 2019, at his residence in Wylie.
Davy was born September 17, 1960, in Terrell, the son of Kenneth Lloyd Willoughby, Sr. and Wynelle Furrh Willoughby. He was raised in Wills Point and was a graduate of Wills Point High School in 1979. He later attended Richland College and I.T.T., both in Dallas. Davy was married to Shawn Wilabay for eight years and on May 10, 1997, he married Myriam Kuzmyak in Garland. Davy was formerly employed as a software engineer for Alcatel-Lucent in Plano for several years. They lived in Garland prior to moving to Wylie twenty-one years ago. In his spare time, he enjoyed being with family, playing the guitar, watching T.V., going to the beach and taking care of his dogs. Davy was of the Baptist faith.
Preceded in death by his parents, Kenneth L. Willoughby on October 21, 2015 and Wynelle Willoughby on May 30, 2019 and father-in-law, Mike Kuzmyak on June 6, 2015.
Davy is survived by his wife, Myriam Willoughby, of Wylie; two daughters, Kacee Willoughby & Chad Brimhall, of Plano and Tiffany Barker & Joe Perez, Jr., of Wylie; brother, Kenneth Willoughby, Jr. & wife, Tammy, of Wills Point; mother-in-law, Myriam Kuzmyak, of Garland; sister-in-law, Sophia Kuzmyak, of Boston, MA and thirteen grand-dogs, Smokey, Eli, Danger, Pebbles, Snoopy, Bam Bam, Roxy, Boojiz, Cash, Trigger, Pyper, Macie and Angus.
Family will receive friends at the funeral home one hour prior to service.
