Delores Sue Pope, 79, of Wills Point, Texas, passed away on Saturday, November 27, 2021.

Delores was born on August 9, 1942, in Arley, Alabama, to the late Jack and Daisey McAdams. She was raised in Meridian, Mississippi. Delores married William Pope Sr. on September 28, 1960. They were members of Trinity Baptist Church in Wills Point where they also shared their life for 25 years. Delores retired from 3M in 1999 after 31 years of service. She enjoyed collecting dolls, writing children's books, gardening, and working in the nursery at her church.

Delores is preceded in death by her parents and brothers Buddy and Elby McAdams.

Delores is survived by her son William Pope and wife Michele of Wills Point; brother Douglas McAdams of Terrell; sisters, Subil Wood and husband Greg of Waynesboro, MS, and Brenda Donald and husband Thomas of Waynesboro, MS; grandchildren, Robyn and Trace; great-grandchildren, Charlotte, Jayden, Sophia and Emilee; along with many other loving relatives and friends.

Funeral service will be held Wednesday, December 1, 2021, at 2pm at Allan Fuller Funeral Home in Wills Point, Texas.  Dolores will be buried next to her beloved husband at Union Grove Cemetery. Online condolences may be made at allanfullerfuneralhome.com.
