Obituary

Delvin Wayne Templeton, 66 of Canton, Texas passed away on Saturday, December 31, 2022, in Tyler, Texas. Delvin was born on November 17, 1956, in Dallas County to the late Nimie and Mary Templeton.

Delvin grew up in Gainesville. He moved from Mexia to Wills Point 20 years ago. Delvin was a member of Round Em' Up Cowboy Church in Wills Point, Texas. He was self employed as a welder for many years. Delvin enjoyed playing pool, darts, karaoke, and joking with anyone he met. He had a giving soul and was happy to help people in anyway he could. He also enjoyed spending time with his family and friends.

Delvin leaves behind his children, Delvin Templeton II and wife Crystal of Wills Point, Chris Collins of Mexia; Amber Henderson and husband Anthony of Crandall and Steven Templeton and wife Priscilla of Houston; brother Donnie Templeton of Midlothian; sister Geri Hadden and husband Bill of Arlington; special friend Lorrie Blanton; grandchildren, Ty Templeton, Riley Templeton, Taylor Templeton, Anthony Henderson II, Jordan Ramsey, Catherine  Collins, Jonathan Yeley, Doyle Yeley, Casey Smith, Kaleb Lee, Austin Lee, and Kenzer Lee; along with numerous nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

Funeral services for Delvin Wayne Templeton will be held Thursday January 12, 2023, at 2 p.m. at Mullin-Fuller Funeral Home in Wills Point, Texas. Family will be accepting guests one hour prior. Online condolences may be made at mullinfullerfuneralhome.com.
