Desmond Dewayne
Green
March 6, 2023 – May 2, 2023
Baby Desmond Dewayne Green of Canton, Texas passed away on May 2, 2023 in Canton, Texas.
Desmond was born March 6, 2023 in Tyler, Texas to JaCorey Green and Alicia Milligan.
Although Desmond's journey in this life was brief, he was very dear to his parents and family. Desmond has a smile that brought warmth to anyone who was around him. He was loved and will forever be loved by this mother, father, brother and sister. There are no words to express the role he holds in our lives and hearts. He was the miracle baby God blessed Alicia and JaCorey with after multiple miscarriages. He was truly a miracle, just like his brother JaCorey Jr.
He is survived by his parents, his brother JaCorey Green Jr., and his sister Brooklyn Green. He is also survived by his grandparents Crystal Campbell, Debra Jack, and Kenneth Milligan.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday May 20th at 11:30 at Last Days Church located at 20879 State Highway 64 in Canton, Texas.
Baby Heaven
I am here in Baby Heaven,
God took me by the hand.
Wrapped me in His love, gently
lead me to His land. I will always
be your baby, our hearts joined
by love. Now a perfect little angel,
I'm watching from above. I am a
part of you, though brief the time
we shared. Take comfort, be
healed, I'm safe in loving care.
Remember me with joy, lift a
smile to the skies. Say a prayer
for me, let there be no sad
goodbyes. One day we'll meet
again, a lifetime I will wait.
You will know the little angel
with outstretched arms at
Heaven's gate.
A Million Times
You never said I'm leaving
You never said good-bye
You were gone before I knew it
And only God knew why
A million times we've cried.
If love alone could've save you,
You never would have died.
In life we loved you dearly,
In death we love you still.
In our hearts you hold a place,
No one else will ever fill.
It broke our hearts to lose you,
But you didn't go alone.
Part of us went with you,
The day of God took you home.
