Marvin Dewayne Carlisle, known to everyone as Dewayne, 61 of Wills Point, Texas passed on May 15, 2022, in Tyler, Texas.

He was born on October 21, 1960, in Terrell, Texas to the late Marvin and Mary Carlisle.

Dewayne graduated from Wills Point High School with the Class of 1978. He was a Master Electrician, but an Electrician by trade for over 30 years. Marvin married Karen Carlisle on March 26, 1999. He has one son Joseph Carlisle, two daughters Katie Dodson and Rachel Vann.

He is preceded in death by his parents: Marvin and Mary Carlisle, daughter Rachel Vann and Grandson Jason Mott.

Dewayne is survived by wife Karen Carlisle of Wills Point; son Joseph Carlisle (Shannon) of 29 Palms, CA; daughter Katie Dodson of Dallas, TX; son in law Ryan Stokes of Terrell, Texas; grandchildren: Emma and Madeleine Carlisle, Kaleb, Jacob and Addy Stokes and Jaikub Salcedo and Elly Salcedo; sister: Kimberly White (Rod) of Alba, Texas; nieces and nephews: Eddie White, Kristal King (Dwayne). Brittany Byrum (Derek), Amanda Cox (Shawn); great nieces and nephews: Colby White, Baylie Baker (James), Gabe Baker (Shelby), Carlie Jacks and Carson White.

Services will be held Thursday May 19, 2022, at 2:00 p.m. at Allan Fuller Funeral Home. Family will be accepting guests one hour prior for visitation. Dewayne will be laid to rest at White Rose Cemetery. Online condolences may be made at mullinfullerfuneralhome.com.
