Visitation service for Diana Ruth Rockey, 69, of West Tawakoni, is scheduled for 1:00-4:00 p.m. Thursday, August 4, 2016, at Allan Fuller Funeral Home Chapel in Wills Point.

She passed away Monday evening, August 1, 2016, in Greenville.

Diana was born September 19, 1946, in Irving, Texas, the daughter of Dale and Mabel Ruth Carpenter. She was raised in Irving. On August 14, 1995, she married Sidney Carlton Rockey in Dallas. Diana was formerly employed as a truck driver for Tri-State Expedited Freight in Perrysburg, Ohio, retiring in 2013. She lived in Wills Point for fourteen years prior to moving to West Tawakoni eight years ago. Diana was of the Baptist faith.

Preceded in death by her parents.

Diana is survived by her husband, Sidney Rockey, of West Tawakoni; son, James Gates & wife, Tashee, of Dallas; step-son, Kevin Rockey & wife, Jennifer, of Dallas; daughter, Vickie Stone & husband, Mike, of Jacksonville; four brothers, Dale Carpenter, Doug Carpenter, David Carpenter and Dana Carpenter; sister, Debbie Thornton; granddaughter, Sissy Martin and three great-grandchildren.
