Diane Loretta Woods, a loving, kind, and gentle soul, passed away peacefully on November 13, 2023, in Dallas, Texas. Born on September 11, 1946, in York, Pennsylvania, Diane was the cherished daughter of the late James Olen and Margaret Oleta Boydston.

In 1972, she married her beloved husband, Earnest O. Woods, Jr., in Kaufman, Texas, and together they raised three wonderful children. Diane's love and kindness extended to her sons, Gregg Woods and Jamie Thompson, their wives, Jenny and Connie, and her daughter, Shelley Egger, married to Reinhard. Diane was a faithful servant of the Lord and attended Wills Point Church of Christ.

Diane's legacy of love continues to live on through her grandchildren, Karley Thompson, Ashton Wilson, and Stefan Egger and her great-grandchildren Rosalyn Wilson and Emma Wilson. Diane's life was a testament to the power of love and kindness, and she will be deeply missed by all who knew her.  A private graveside service will be held for family only.
