Obituary

Donna Gwynne Barnhart, a cherished wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, passed away peacefully in McKinney, Texas on September 29, 2023, at the age of 78. Donna was born on July 31, 1945, in Beaumont, Texas, to her loving parents, the late Thomas and Vivian Clare.

A proud Texan, Donna was a graduate of Wylie High School, class of 1963. She was known for her quick wit, infectious smile, and her kind and compassionate spirit. Donna was a woman of strength and determination, who instilled in her family the importance of love, laughter, and resilience.

She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Earl Barnhart, and her sister, Linda Rodriguez. Donna is survived by her two sons, Michael Scott Dial and Keith Wesley Dial, and wife Gina. She is also survived by her daughter, Vivian Wallace, and her husband, Johnny.

Donna was the proud matriarch of a large family, which includes six grandchildren: Ashley Milam, Amanda Ruff, Autumn Wallace, Armand Dial, Morgan Hannon, and Madison Hannon. She also had the joy of knowing her seven great-grandchildren: Cameron, Natalie, Addyson, Bethanie, Rowan, Idalia, and Mila. Her family was her greatest pride and joy, and she cherished every moment she spent with them.

Throughout her life, Donna had a passion for finding treasures in thrift stores and garage sales. She had an eye for the unique and the beautiful, and she loved the thrill of the hunt. Her home was filled with the charming and eclectic finds she had lovingly collected over the years.

Donna was a woman of great faith, and she lived her life with grace and humility. She was a beacon of light to all who knew her, and she touched countless lives with her kindness and generosity. She had a way of making everyone she met feel special and loved, and she will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
