Memorial services for Donna Raye Burt, 56, of Edgewood are scheduled for 2:00 p.m. Saturday, October 24, 2015 at Elwood Baptist Church north of Wills Point under the direction of Allan Fuller Funeral Home in Wills Point.
She passed away on October 15, 2015 at her residence.
Donna was born December 5, 1958, in Knox City, Texas, the daughter of Jackie Rae Cornwell and Frances Mae McAda Cornwell. She was raised in O'Brien. After graduating high school, Donna attended Seymour Hospital Authority School of Vocational Nursing in Vernon. On July 24, 1976, she married Harvey Burt in O'Brien. Donna was formerly employed by Crestwood Nursing Home in Wills Point, Nexion Health Care in Terrell and retired in April 2015 from Epic Health Center in Alba. She enjoyed fishing and watching sports on TV. She lived in Wills Point and Knox City prior to moving to Edgewood. She attended Elwood Baptist Church north of Wills Point.
Preceded in death by her father, Jackie Rae Cornwell; brother, Kenneth Dean Cornwell and a niece, Jacqueline Denton.
Donna is survived by her husband, Harvey Burt, of Edgewood; mother, Frances Cornwell, of Edgewood; daughter, Jennifer Burt, of Dallas; brother, Roger McAda & wife, Sherry, of Richardson; two sisters, Debrah Clower, of Odessa and Jackie Cornwell, of Dallas and three grandchildren, Desyrae Davis, Tyson "T.J." Davis and Keyara Davis.
