Donna Jean Teel (Thompson), aged 73, passed away on November 4, 2024, in Edgewood, Texas. Born on October 16, 1951, in Grand Saline, Texas, Donna was a spirited individual who cherished her family and friends deeply.

Donna graduated from Wills Point High School in 1969 and furthered her education at the University of Southern Indiana. Her career spanned various roles, including positions at WP Mobile Homes, Terrell State Hospital, and the Post Office, from which she retired in 2016.

She was a devoted member of the Main Street Baptist Church in Grand Saline, where she was a member of the Friendship Sunday School class and a member of the Order of the Eastern Star. Donna's hobbies included traveling and playing cards, and she was regularly the life of any party.

Donna is survived by her parents, Mike and Ann Rodden; her daughter, Amber Travis and her husband, Jeff; her brother, Don Thompson, Jr. and his wife, Stacy; and her sisters, Ivy Owens (Ricky), Tammy Cooper (Stephen), and Tonia Miller. She also leaves behind four cherished Grandgirls, Sutton Travis and her fiancée Carson McCann, Payton Travis, Kipton Travis, and Kensington Travis. She was preceded in death by her biological parents, Donald Thompson and Reba Sallings Rodden, and her brothers, Michael Rodden II and Clifford Thompson.

A memorial service will be held at the Mullin-Fuller Funeral Home Chapel in Wills Point, Texas, on Saturday, November 9, 2024, at 1 p.m. Visitation will occur one hour before the service.
