Memorial services for Donna Usher, 88, of Richardson will be held on April 30, 2017 in Richardson. Arrangements are under the direction of Allan Fuller Funeral Home in Wills Point.

Donna passed away peacefully surrounded by her family Friday afternoon, March 24, 2017, at Medical Center of Plano.

Donna was born December 15, 1928, in Clearfield, PA, the daughter of Alton Davis and Ruth McMurray Davis. She was raised in Clearfield and graduated from Clearfield High School. On April 24, 1948, she married Billy Joe Usher in Clearfield. While Donna sometimes worked outside her home, she is best remembered as a loving homemaker. She enjoyed knitting, making decorative candles and cooking pies. She lived in Jacksboro prior to moving to Richardson in 1992. Donna was a member of the First Methodist Church in Richardson.

Preceded in death by her parents, Alton and Ruth Davis and two sisters, Dolores Watson and Catherine Fullerton.

Donna is survived by her husband, Rev. Billy Joe Usher, of Richardson, (descendant of John Spencer Howell); three sons, Steve Usher & wife, Hitomi, of San Diego, Howell Davis Usher & wife, Amy, of Clarkdale, Arizona and Ken Usher & wife, Susan, of Richardson; four grandchildren, Maya Usher, Emily Usher, Joey Usher and Danny Usher & wife, Katie; one great-granddaughter, Keira Grace Usher and her beloved dog, Lady.
