Memorial services for Donald Ray "Donnie" Joiner, 65, of Wills Point are scheduled for 4:00 p.m. Saturday, March 16, 2019, at the Wills Point Church of Christ with Mr. Russell Harris officiating. Services are under the direction of Allan Fuller Funeral Home in Wills Point.

He passed away early Thursday morning, March 14, 2019, at U.T. Southwestern in Dallas, surrounded by his family.

Donnie was born December 27, 1953, in Grand Prairie, the son of Delmon Arlo Joiner and Annie Mae Ellis Joiner.  He was raised in Grand Prairie and graduated from Grand Prairie High School.  On June 4, 1983, he married Glenna Kay Davis in Arlington.  Donnie was formerly employed by Vought Air Craft in Grand Prairie as a machinist for thirty years, retiring in 2007, due to his health.  He lived in Arlington prior to moving to Wills Point twenty-five years ago.  In his spare time, he enjoyed mowing, washing cars and building things. But most important to Donnie was spending time with his grandchildren.  Donnie was a faithful member of the Wills Point Church of Christ.

Preceded in death by his parents, Delmon and Annie Mae Joiner; brother, William Buck Joiner; sister, Dorothy Joiner Ottmo and his mother-in-law, Peggy Davis.

Donnie is survived by his wife, Glenna Joiner, of Wills Point; two daughters, Danna Reed & husband, Jason, of Wills Point and Jamie Bearden & husband, Jason, of Forney; two brothers, Dan Joiner & wife, Marilyn, of Grand Saline and David Joiner, of Grand Prairie; sister, Sandie Shepherd & husband, Tom, of Athens and eight grandchildren, Avery Reed, Tysen Reed, Paige Davis, Dawson Davis, Viktoria Bearden, Jordan Bearden, Tayler Bearden and Rylee Bearden.

Family will receive friends at the Wills Point Church of Christ one hour prior to service.
