Funeral services for Doris Jean Brisson, 86, of Wills Point, are scheduled for 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, September 16, 2015, at Allan Fuller Funeral Home Chapel in Wills Point with James Brisson officiating.

She passed away early Sunday morning, September 13, 2015, in a Kaufman hospital.

Doris was born August 26, 1929, in Dallas, the daughter of Johnny Harris and Irma Roach Harris. She was raised in Dallas, where she attended public school. Doris was married to Boyd Jasper Brisson for nine years. She was a homemaker and enjoyed collecting cat figurines, cooking and eating jelly beans. Doris loved her family very much and was a devoted mother and grandmother. She lived in Quinlan for ten years prior to moving to Wills Point four years ago. Doris was of the Baptist faith.

Preceded in death by her parents, Johnny Harris and Irma Roach Harris Martin; husband, Boyd Jasper Brisson; daughter, Marilynn Massey and a son, Billy Bolden.

Doris is survived by two sons, James Brisson, of Wills Point and John David Brisson, of Camp Joy, Louisiana; five daughters, Kathy Riley & husband, Earl, of Wills Point, Brenda Whisenhunt & husband, Roger, of Albuquerque, New Mexico, Irma Perdue, of Corsicana, Bonnie Gollihugh & husband, Jimmy, of Colorado and Marsha Kahoe, of Wichita Falls; brother, Tommy Martin, of Texas; twenty-nine grandchildren, Jodi, Kimberly, Robbie, Stacy, Clarissa, Michael, Wayne, Christy, Christopher, Jennifer, Donald, Tim, Mark, Luke, Sherri, Karla, T.J., Stephanie, J.W., Danny, David, Jennifer, Joshua, J.D., Jamie, Angie, Ray, Billy and Charlie and fifty-one great-grandchildren.

Family will receive friends at the funeral home one hour prior to service.
